.baby days.

i don't think forrest and I have ever been this poor in our whole married life, and baby isn't even here yet!  i'm already sacrificing hair appointments and my shopping habits, but for the most part my 2 inch regrowth doesn't bother me when I think of why I haven't had my hair done in months.  in fact forrest came home the other day and said i'm surprised at how well you are handling this, that's when I let him know that I had indeed gone shopping that day, now now before you judge and blame the state of our economy on me listen...we have a gap card, when you spend money you earn rewards which can be used at old navy, gap, banana, athleta, piperlime.  I normally save these bad boys up and wait until I get a coupon for piperlime and buy something expensive for myself and end up paying 2O-4O bucks for said item, my frye boots for example.  however I knew with baby coming I would want those to spend on him when fall clothes started coming out.  and they have BARELY started coming out but they are oh too cute to resist.  just look at these gap clothes and tell me I made a bad choice spending 6O of my reward dollars on baby boy.  you can't.  it is not possible. (and don't worry he won't be wearing these all at the same time, in fact i'm turning the onesie into a cardigan sweater!!) 

and as if that wasn't a good enough deal today I got a kohls 1O reward in the mail, I don't know how I don't have a kohl's card.  I got him fuzzy little elephant pj's for 1 dollar.  ONE dollar!!

AND as if I hadn't felt like i'd done enough "shopping" for the day, I picked up the petunia pickle bottom diaper bag I won via instagram.  now that is what I call a successful shopping day.  hopefully this will hold me over until I have money to spend on this little boy!

for the temple.
the beauty & peace found therein.
the ability to perform baptisms yesterday morning with the man i love.
& for the knowledge of eternal families, that you can attain within those sacred walls.

6th birthday

today we celebrated gabby's 6th birthday.

i honestly cannot believe she is that old, i remember the day she was born.

in celebration i made her some minion cupcakes in honor of "despicable me".

they were quite a hit & pretty yummy too.

maybe some day i'll get to do this for real....as a job.

i can truly tell you i'm marrying my best friend.
even better than that is the fact that he can read my mind.
when i don't ask for help he comes to the rescue anyway.
he sat & helped me with invites tonight.
sometimes i get so stressed i can't see straight, he helps me keep my cool. always. i'm real lucky...but it didn't take invitation stuffing to realize that.

cowgirl

so I may have been having a horrible morning. called forrest so he could calm me down & listen to my sob story all the while knowing I was being totally irrational. he listened patiently and said 'remember cowgirls don't cry.' ha I love him. plain and simple he is the best for me!

new year's eve

since i was little i waited & waited for my new year's eve kiss.

this year i've been so busy trying to make sure everything is perfect it hadn't even crossed

my mind.

i love that last night as we talked about our new years eve fun,

"he" was the one to remind me i'd be "his" new year's kiss.

it's the little things that keep me falling in love all over again.

the other night forrest & i went to dinner at cpk {california pizza kitchen} we were sitting there talking, waiting for our food & forrest was talking about his bills. this is what he said " then i'll only have my cell phone, gas, & you as bills." i couldn't contain my excitement, i really like the kid. who would have thought being called a bill could be so romantical?

do you remember the last time you liked someone so much that after pretty much 7 straight weeks of being together everyday you still want to spend all your free time with them...and try and find more time to be together.
and then after an amazing saturday when you have been together over 10 hours and you get home expecting to have at least 2 more hours to spend together but he is exhausted and leaves you home alone you get upset that you can't spend the rest of the night together...i'm not sure what is going on but forrest dear, i think i have an idea why i'm so crazy about being with you as long as possible. i've pretty much all together entirely fallen for you.
i miss you and its only been 1 hour since you left....
