i told you in my bedroom post that i was in the process of making us a headboard for our bed.  i'm glad to say i'm in the final stages of said headboard.  i'm just trying to decide on final touches.  i found inspiration on pinterest of course.  its been a bit of a task, because instead of tracking down weathered wood i made my own.  i beat the heck out of it, sanded it, stained it with tea, paint, steel wool & apple cider vinegar.  but i'm actually really happy with the results!  i cannot wait to finish it and get it above the bed.  hoping to have final pictures to share by monday!  and next on the bedroom list of things to do...pillows.  find them.  make them. buy them.  whatever just get some that i cannot live with out!

i feel like i'm trapped...between a rock, another rock, a hard place, & 5 more rocks.
the past week or two i've been so busy it's kinda ridiculously crazy. nice. but crazy. i have so many goals & ambitions i keep trying to narrow down to the best but they are all so good it's really hard to narrow it down.
i feel like forrest and i don't get time for each other, between school, his work, my work {currently at about 4 jobs, don't get me wrong not 4 full time jobs, but it's still been a crazy schedule.} and i get overwhelmed thinking how much more crazy it's going to be when we have babies.
thank heavens i have such a wonderful and loving husband. his sense of humor usually keeps me sane ;) and his loving embrace warms my heart. someday i hope to be as loving and stress free as he is. anyway my primary duties are calling.
p.s. happy super bowl tomorrow, i made homemade football shaped oreos to celebrate!
